Dear Potential Brewery Sponsor,

My name is David Kirk and I am the founder and captain of Aleuminati Cycling. Aleuminati Cycling’s inaugural ride will be this September as we participate in the 2011 MS Bike Ride for the Gateway Chapter in Columbia MO. Some Team Members will be riding out to Columbia MO from Murphysboro IL with a kickoff event at Big Muddy Brewery in Murphysboro. We plan to stop at as many breweries and brew pubs as possible on the way to Columbia to raise awareness for Multiple Sclerosis as well as promote our sponsors. HISTORY:

I initially rode in the MS Bike Ride in 2007 as “Team Saluki”. After completing the ride my friend Shawn Connelly purchased a Brooklyn Local 1 beer for me as a “trophy”. The ride and the beer were instrumental in my transformation from a “bad beer” drinker to a person who is passionate about craft beer. Shawn Connelly operates a craft beer social networking site known as “The Aleuminati”. I therefore decided to change the name of my team for 2011 to promote not only MS Awareness, but also promote craft beer and to honor the efforts Shawn has made in promoting craft beer. My ride in 2007 gained a great deal of media attention and I plan to do the same this year with Aleuminati Cycling.

This Year:

Not only will Aleuminati Cycling be participating in the MS Ride in Columbia, several team members will be riding from Murphysboro Illinois to Columbia the week leading up to the event. We are planning to stop at as many breweries and brew pubs along our route as possible. Ideally we will have a welcome reception riding into the brewery and have the media at each stop to again promote MS Awareness as well as our sponsors.

All sponsorship money will go to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and for team expenses.
